Co-incidentally, I had noticed similar candle holders while shopping for food in my local supermarket. I was tempted, until I saw that they were spoiled by having white feet instead of being allover elegant black like these. They were also MUCH more expensive. I couldn't claim I actually needed one, so luckily I resisted.My first use is not under a candle, but to keep a bottle of oil from spreading its contents onto the counter top in my bathroom. When I get round to using one of the holders to accommodate a candle, I will be very glad that the little ball feet avoid any risk of scorching the furniture underneath. I notice also that the dished shape should hold any melted wax, not letting it spill.The seller offers Free Returns, but I would certainly not want to be parted from my set of three.

Great item to stand your candles on.

For £4.98 these candles plates are okay. The finish is not the best, with some lumps and bumps on the surface, but it is not too bad. They are strong though and do seem quite durable.
