Brilliant Soundbar for Home Entertainment
I got the ULTIMEA 2.1ch Sound Bar for my living room and it's been a fantastic addition. The built-in subwoofer provides powerful bass, and the "BassMX" feature lets me adjust the low frequencies to my liking. The compact design fits neatly under my TV, and the smart app control makes it easy to switch between EQ modes and fine-tune the sound. The 121 preset EQ matrices are a bonus, allowing me to tailor the sound to different genres of music and films. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable and fast, making it perfect for streaming my favourite shows and movies.

Provided upgraded sound quality for my TV
I'm not an audio aficionado, but I was beginning to notice a slight distortion in the sound from my aging flatscreen TV. Hence my order for the ULTIMEA 2.1ch Sound Bar.Connecting the sound bar to my TV was a straightforward matter. I used the included optical cable. One thing to be aware of is that the optical cable connectors only fit in the socket one particular way — having not used optical cables before, I didn't previously know this. Upon connecting it, the sound bar worked immediately, and even my untrained ears identified the improved quality of its output over the TV's internal speakers.I haven't downloaded the app associated with this item because the remote control, which is included in the pack, serves my basic needs. The preset modes for movies, games, and music have their own remote buttons, and I've found the "Movie" preset best suits my requirements. There is also a button to easily adjust the bass level. The remote control takes two AAA sized batteries and you'll need to supply these yourself.

Decent entry-level soundbar
This smaller Sound Bar has really enhanced my TV-watching experience with clear and immersive sound - I've been pleasantly surprised after some early usage. The channel setup delivers a fairly decent bass, and it’s great for movies, music, and gaming. Setting it up was simple, and I love the Bluetooth 5.3 feature for streaming music from my phone with no lag - something my previous soundbar was terrible for. The design is sleek and fits nicely with my TV setup. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that sound quality ca fluctuate a little but is never awful. Otherwise, it's a fantastic sound bar at a great price, definitely worth considering!

Average quality sound from such a small speaker bar
Due to the flat screen design of today’s modern monitors and TV’s, I find the internal speakers have suffered a back bench stance in the product design and specs. Sound bars or full home cinema systems are pretty much a necessity for today’s viewing if you want something more than a tinny noise projected rearwards from your chosen screen. We have a full 5.1 surround setup in the main living room but wanted something less involved for our daughters bedroom viewing. This fits the bill nicely as it doesn’t take up much room, sits in front of the TV without being too noticeable, and provides a richer sound than the TV.Our setup uses the Bluetooth feature of the sound bar from an Apple TV (connect to “Solo B30 Pro” from your Bluetooth connection menu) which allows control of the volume via a single remote, so the included remote to this device goes pretty much unused. It provides basic functions and is nothing special, although it does take two standard pencil batteries rather than button cells, and is much better than some other soundbar remotes I’ve seen. For wired connection, there is a very thin and basic optical cable included in the pack which does the job just fine. It’s not a well protected cable so can become easily damaged. Once fitted it shouldn’t need much handling but anyone not familiar with these cables will need to exercise some caution as they’re easy to break if bent too much.I read through some other reviews which talk about poor sound quality. Yes you’re not going to get the same experience as brands such as Bose, but it does provide sound clear enough for generic TV viewing for under £45 at the time of my order. We’re happy with the sound and look of this compact self-amplified speaker and given the features and quality compared with the retail price, it’s a good deal for a budget soundbar.

Seems you can't really go far wrong with Ultima kit for the budget side of audio gear.
Got this to try in the bedroom, as the TV speakers are always so inferior as TVs are so thin these days they seem to scrimp on the actual speaker system. For its size I have to say I wasn't totally blown away, but for the size it is very impressive. The high to mid range is well driven by the small speakers, and the small 3" sub gives off a pleasing bass, I did think that the movie setting was actually better for music than the music setting as what always seems to happen, they overdrive the bass in music presets which just sounds odd when playing some music. If you want to tweak the settings you can download the app, which gives you an ability to customise the EQ so you can create a much better sound. But unless you are really all that bothered, there really isn't any need. The only let down of this little sounder is no HDMI input so you can't use a single controller to do the sound. Unless I am missing something and there is a way to use your TV remote to control it?Too many remote controls is just a pain to be honest. The bluetooth function works well with your bluetooth enable devices, tablets, laptops, and phones so you can have a nice amount of sound rather than just your phone speaker. All in all a pretty good small soundbar, and Ultima seem to be able to pack a hell of a lot into their devices so for size, and cost, this is pretty good.I mean I wouldn't use it in a lounge or for a PC system but for a smaller room, kitchen, bedroom etc. this is more than adequate.Seems you can't really go far wrong with Ultima kits for the budget side of audio gear.Would recommend
