Great for the ren fair
Look I love going to the Ren Fair and I love going in costume, this dagger works well and complies with the no sharps policy if you like martial weapons and plan to train with them cold steal is the best

Holy moly--such great quality!
I bought this to be a prop for acting out scenes in Macbeth in my English class, and wow--this was exactly the level of quality I had hoped for, yet I was prepared to be disappointed. Totally impressed, and now I'm probably going to end up blowing way too much of my money on future ColdSteel training weapons, because I have two young boys who--ah, who am I fooling?--it's just as much the 7-year-old boy in me as it is the ones I'm raising ...After this Macbeth unit is over, my kids are going to go nuts playing with this thing--and it's going to stand up to all the shenanigans they (o.k., we) are going to put it through.

Perfect for my ren faire outfit. Easy to paint to make it look more realistic. "Blade" part has words on it so not great for close up pictures but possibly can sand off.

Much bigger then expected
The media could not be loaded. I got this dagger thinking I'd get a 8inch blad .... nope it's 10 1/2 inchesVery very sturdy even the hilt guard is strong and bounces back .... it's not that heavy and as u can see it bends well but not when impacted as block only when thrusting forward the blade bendsMe and my 8 year old son have been play for a few years with bokkens and foam ... I've never gotten a cold steel dagger but incomparison to cold steel bokkens it's a tad softer but deffently had quality ... I can guard no problem even against larger or full size swords

My new favorite piece!!!
Purchased for my D&D theif halloween costume. Still had to explain to people what I was, had to pull out the die and explain multiple times. I think I went too abstract with my costume. but every time I got to pull out my dagger was worth it. It's a solid piece. Not flimsy at all, feels good to hold. Had originally ordered a metal dagger, but with safety restricions in entering a public place, I opted for this dagger. Extremely glad I did. Aside from having people call me Zorro all night, I was very happy.

I purchased this for my son
My son is always loved swords and he's really hard on them so plastic swords are a no-go. Woof ones are great but eventually they become splitter hazards. I think this is an excellent blend of authenticity and performance for him.
