About 15 years ago, I purchased this blanket from Ikea. It looks light weight and cool. Don’t let it fool you. This is the warmest blanket I own I don’t know why. But it is. And 100% will buy again when this one has see its last days.

It has a great gauzy popcorn texture
In our house we call this "summer blanket." It's light enough to put in your lap when you want the coziness of a blanket but not the warmth. It has a great gauzy popcorn texture, too. Plus it's fancy-looking on the sofa. My former roomie had one and I loved it so much that I tracked it down on Amazon after I got married so that we could have our own. When I showed it to my husband he was initially skeptical about my purchase, "Summer blanket? Why do we need one of those?" He loves it as much as I do now! I hope it will always be in production in case we wear this one out and need a replacement.

THE BEST BLANKET EVER MADE
MY FAVORITE BLANKET. I have had this blanket for years. Stretchy and comfortable and surprisingly warm for being so thin.I got it at IKEA when they had it in stores. I made the mistake of leaving it to close to the rat cage, and they snacked a hole in it :(. I was SO RELIEVED when amazon had it, as it's been discounted at IKEA. I call it my cocoon because it kinda looks like one when I am all wrapped up in it. Plus I also usually emerge as a butterfly. I sleep with it every night. Please always have this amazon! I CANNOTive without it.

great blanket
I love this blanket,can't believe how warm it is for being so light! Great blanket. The item was received in a timely manner. Great experience.UPDATE:I know there have been questions out here in cyberland related to the drying of this product/blanket. I recently washed mine and wondered the same. After taking it out of the washer it felt MORE than 1/2 dry. Pretty amazing fabric. There is no need to dry this in a dryer (good thing as it says not to), I just took 2 hangers out of my closet, draped each blanket end through each hanger and hung it up to dry overnight, it dried fast and easy, hassle free. All the more reason I LOVE this blanket.

Annoyed as I ordered two of these
Not the same as PICTURE! They sent knitted throw. I ordered sheer cotton gauze white stretchy thin blanket as pictured! Annoyed as I ordered two of these! Change your pictures to the correct sell item!!!!....... RETURNING
